Below you will find important up coming dates for the New Mexico YMCA Youth and Government program. Please keep note that these dates are subject to change. All bills, forum papers, and cases are due by the date listed in order to make sure they make it into the Bill Book.Events:
1) ORIENTATION will be January 13th, 2012 at 8:30am. Covenant
Presbyterian Church. 9315 Candelaria Rd. NE. Albuquerque,
NM 87112.
2) Pre-Leg session will be February 8th, 2012 in the Round House.
Delegates will be responsible for lunch on their own (NO ONE
EATS ALONE).
Advisors, there will be an Advisor Luncheon on February 8th in
Santa Fe. More Details to come.
3) The 2011-2012 Legislative Session will be held April 22-24,
2012.
ALL CANDIDATE QUESTIONAIRRES ARE DUE FEBRUARY 8th.
INITIAL DEPOSITS ($100.00) and REGISTRATION FORMS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 8th.
ALL BILLS, CASE BRIEFS, and FORUM PAPERS ARE DUE MARCH 23rd.
ALL FINAL PAYMENTS ($100.00) and ADDITIONS TO DELEGATE ROSTERS DUE MARCH 23rd.
NOTE: The cost to participate in the Youth and Government program is $200.00 total.
